Senate President Say Chhum and His Wife Go to the Polls at Wat Koh High School in Phnom Penh

PHNOM PENH: The President of the Senate of the Kingdom of Cambodia, Say Chhum, and his wife went to vote for the 5th Mandate Commune / District Council Election 2022-2027 at Polling Station No. 0231 in Wat Koh High School, Sangkat Boeung Reang, Khan Daun Penh, Phnom Penh on Sunday morning, 5 June 2022.

The Senate President did not make any statement after placing his vote.

The 5th Commune / District Council Election is being held on 5 June, with 17 political parties taking part in a total. The parties are competing for 11,622 Commune / District Council seats nationwide, from 1,652 communes and districts, and with more than 9.2 million registered voters.
